Erwin, I understand the problem, but what I think you should do for those who have lost PM attachments is create some kind of tacky temporary standalone script (you know, one of those ten-minute jobs) that will retrieve our attachments from the backup (re-create the table with the same data but with a different name so it doesn't conflict with vB3's tables?) and allow us to download them.

I mean, I didn't even know you guys were going to upgrade until it happened... Otherwise I would have grabbed it real quick...
