we've no possibilities to decide how long Jelsoft allows vb2 downloading in members area.
vbulletin.com would be the right place to ask.

as for hacks: theoretically as long as vb.org exists, as you can also find vb1 hacks on this site (if you know where to search )
in general we'll make the vb2 hacking forums invisible when the great majority doesn't post in them anymore.
