by law u dont need to report a cat if u run it over - u can just leave it by the roadside or bag it and bin it.
Not nice i know but the law for dogs is totally different and must be reported.
No animal should suffer in needless pain so sorry to hear what you went though sue.
Also 2-3 thousand dollors for a cat - be cheaper to have it put down to be honest.No wonder your neighbours aint answering the door.Is it any wonder when vets are charging high prices such as these.I know you have the animal welfare at heart but you gotta relise some people dont have that sort of money no matter how much they love their animals.
