IP banning is useless because most people use dynamic IPs so its like a 56k user coming back over and over. And if you ban their ISP then they just use a proxy so that goes to waste. I just put the miserable user hack plus the silent ban hack on them so in case they break through the miserable user hack, nobody can see their posts except the admins. Trust me its far better than IP banning.
