I have a '67 Dodge Monaco 500 (Bought it last year - and the seller was full of sh!t - told us "It'll be up and running in 2 hours" And we realized afterwards, that the idiot didn't even have the right radiator for the car -- if we would've gotten the thing running, as soon as we started it, the engine would over heat because the radiator is too small to handle a 383 engine. So its been sitting in front of our apartment for the last year and a half - because we can't afford a $350 radiator. We're in the process of selling it (well its up for sale). If anyone is interested in a project car, by all means make an offer
We also have a '85 Chevy Caprice Classic, 305 small block, 4bbl carb, runs like a a dream (you couldn't tell it was a 18 year old engine in there, it purrs). Paid $1000 for it this year.
Can't afford new cars -- don't want one actually (my husband agrees).
