I posted this in "help me finish" but nobody ever answers in there

Sorry for the duplicate thread, i just need some help:

Hey yall, my users are complaining that since i installed the quick reply box, none of the letters are being marked as read, they stay closed, hence the "find new posts" link doesnt work anymore. Could you please instruct me on how to fix this?
