I seem to be running into brick walls or something all over the net (forums). I'm trying to find out what is required to put a live stream on my website or even better, in one of my forum posts via html? We'll keep it simple and say a blank web page on my server. (Dual Xeon loaded)

I cover both race and cover Jetski racing and want to provide a live video stream from the National Championships this year.

I have both a high end laptop and a home PC that I can/will take to the race site, hook to my 8mm digital cam and will either have a good dsl/cable hookup or wireless internet. (Working with main promoter on this but it will be covered one way or another)

What I need to know is how to uplink this to my server and distribute it via a web page. It needs to be easy as 1, 2, 3 for visitors.. Just go to the link and watch the LIVE video stream from the race site..

Can anyone give me some ideas or information?
