IMO there is nothing wrong with the load (i get loads of 2.00 1.20 0.97 and worse)...

But if you really want to optimise vBulletin, try installing a few "forumhome optimisation" hacks - One by Xenon, one by filburt, and any hacks that you have installed, make sure the templates are included in the "$templatesused" and that you try and run as few queries as possible...
