Greetings,

I've been climbing through searching the entire forum and I can't seem to find what I hope is a simple hack for V2.3.0

On a forum by forum basis, I want to set an email option. Very simply, that when a new thread (post) is submitted for the first time (not (re)edited), a copy of the new post (user, subject, date, & content) is sent to a specific email address (or short list of addresses).

I need a way that I can use a VB forum as an announcement board, so that new posts are sent to a much broader e-community than just my VB member base.

If there is anything like that out there, please point the way. If this hack is
simple, please let me know.
