Default GIVE ME * 5 * .... This Should be simple, right?
I have looked thru some highlight hacks here, that are complicated. All I am trying to find is something that continually takes the LAST 5 POSTED messages on my vBulletin board and o displays those messages in a frame on my site's homepage.

When someone loads my homepage they will see the 5 most recent messages posted in a Date, Title, poster's name, part-of-message format kinda like this:


DATE, TITLE OF MESSAGE - poster's name
Part of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message...

DATE, TITLE OF MESSAGE - poster's name
Part of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message...

DATE, TITLE OF MESSAGE - poster's name
Part of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message part of message partd of message...



This seems so simple that I'm thinking that maybe it's already been done/requested before? All the full portals and stuff posted in hacks are complicated and have way more than I need. Anyone had success in finding/creating what I'm looking to do?
