I have been enjoying these forums and the hacks on them for some time.

I would like to give back to the community and my only skill in that area would be visual basics.

I was wondering if there would be a use for an instant messenger based off the forum users.

The way it would work is you(the owner) would run an app(best if you are static ip)

Users would then log in to the messenger that connects to your pc.

Your pc then checks there username/password against the database.

They would then get a list of users in the messenger.
