Nodz that's exactly what I'm aiming for

Also I allow people to register on the site and post to "public forums" but only people active in the online games we are get moved to a special usergroup and obtain access to several more forums and get all the perks.

Would like the birthdays to only pick up those in the special usergroup, not all the average joes
