Are you certain Erwin?

I've looked all over and see nothing like that on my board, or even here.

In the user cp anywhere.

I know how to turn off so you don't see the smilie or vbcode panel of course, but to actual disable the smilies from showing up in posts at all is what I can't find either.

Perhaps I'm missing something, have had this requested on my site as well.
