Isn't there a way to do it like:

if (($attachment == *.jpg) or ($attachment == *.gif)) {
<img scr="theurl" width="xx" height="xx">
}

Im sure the code IS NOT good ;P
But it could be done like this IMO....

No because attachment.php doesn't return HTML, it returns actual file data.

vB3 sure seems pretty far away now that we've been waiting for two years...
