ryan,
is the database compressed, or is it just the plain sql database backup ?
if it's plain sql then it'll be in plain text format.

if you cant figure a way to do this then as a fellow Disney board owner, if you dont mind me having your database, I can download it onto my home server delete what ever you want, Attachments, word, index etc and then upload it for you.
