When I did something similar back when I was new to VB, I probably did it the hard way, but here's how I did it.

I created a new style set and then made that style only for that forum. It wasn't user selectable, but I overrode the users style for that forum with the custom style.

Then, I hacked the templates in that forum only. This also works if you need to add custom fields to posts, etc. because you can create a second newreply.php and have it process the code you want processed.

Like I say, there are probably better ways to do this, but my way is easy for a newbie.
