Lets see... I started using Discuss (yuck!) back a few years ago before I knew much about what I was doing. As my site started to grow, the fact that Discuss couldn't do something as simple as splitting into multiple pages made me realize I was going to have to find a different board (or keep archiving the posts every other day). I started searching for different forum software and found quite a few that were nice, but most were lacking at least a feature or two that I wanted. Then I stumbled across vBulletin. When I saw the regular interface I was impresseed, then I saw the admin interface and was blown away.
