Umm, what i did was just upload all the vB 2.2.9 php files via ftp, and then upgraded.....but i made a new style/template/replacement set, etc before i did and i customized that already - it doesn't have the store installed though

Would i be able to do it that way? Because it seems to have worked with no problems....yet!

--- i didn't want to do all that reverse stuff, the hack took like 2 hours to install! Not worth it, just created a new template set
