Hi,

I've installed PluhNews and have it running fine but I am interested in modifying it further.

I would like to know if any one could help me add a couple of features to it.

1) I would like to limit the number of characters pulled from the forum post to the main page. For example if the news post goes over 1000 characters then the news on the front page (PluhNews.php) should only show the first 1000 chars.

2) Also (connected to the first addition) I would like a "read more" link so if the page does go over the 1000 chars you can click that link and read the article in full. PluhNews already does this to a certain extent but it links directly back to the post on the forum. I would like this to appear in a separate page which uses my main website page as a template. Newspro does this with a mod called "Full News".

If anyone can help me out with this I would be very greatful. I'm no PHP expert so I'm stuck with it at the moment!
