Hi there...

I'm new to vBulletin, and have come to love it... One thing I love about it is the vast community of hacks that are available... and the wonderful community here to support and guide the vBulletin hacker.

As I'm going through these hacks, I'm noticing that certain hacks add a level of functionality and depth to the forums, that they stand head and shoulders above the rest. Some of these hacks have even developed sub-communities of users creating hacks based on the original hack...

Lesane's Store hack comes to mind. The functionality that this hack adds is incredible.

I propose a new section on vbulletin.org that provides entire forums dedicated to the support and ongoing development of in-depth hacks that have cultivated sub-communities of their own.

The idea is that there are some substantial hacks out here that could use a forum to really blossom and reach their full potential. There would be a section entitled "Subsantial Hacks" (or something of the like, and below it would be forums dedicated to these particular substantial hacks (an admin or 'council' here would decide what qualifies).

I really believe that this would be a benefit to this community, and add a level of depth to some of these hacks that have so much potential yet to be realized.

Any thoughts on this?
