As a web hosting operations Manager, i already know that this would be a very popular hack if someone can implement it. Personally, I do not see it as a difficult task at all, because this is a simple integration and not one that requires everything to be seemless between the two.

Requirements:
- perlDesk would use the user pool from vBulletin for login security.


Now this can work one of two ways
One: it can be a true user pool combination (meaning if a vBulletin user is logged in, they are logged in to PerlDesk as well)
Two: every user that is registered on vBulletin is ALSO registered into PerlDesk (with the same user/pass) therefore making two user/pass combination pools (this is ok as well).


Final Word
I will even give $40 USD (small price) to the person who develops this as a special bonus. This will not just be $40, but a popular hack (i can almost guarantee it). Why? Because hosts would LOVE to be able to have the user/pass of a user seemless throughout a site without having to double-enter (sometimes triple enter) information throughout the site.
