Well, the idea struck me a few times, but I've never decided to post it. I'm not sure if a hack like this already exists, but it would be great to see one, especially since I don't think I'm the only one who happens to run a board crowded with evil flooders/spammers.

Basicly, what the hack would do would be to take the average amount of words out of each posts and display it someplace, most likely in the postbit, and/or in the user profile. This could likely make people post longer (and hopefully more useful) threads.
