I'd like to retain the banned members in their posts...appearing with their posts (if any) but need to remove their names from the membership list when viewed via date joined or by alpha.

Can someone tell me how to do this?

I have a banned member (banned for harrasing emails) and now as she has escalated the situation, demanding her name be removed from the memberlist...she is like a gnat that will not leave me alone...much less continuing to send me threats.

I'd rather not take the legal action but would be easier if her name just magically disappeared from the list while I retained her registration info in case I need it for legal evidence.

Or could I just remove her userID from that list and keep her in my database?
