As shown in the credits, the hack uses modified versions of Teck's "Latest XX Threads on Fourmshome" and Kurafire's Simple Newsportal" hack for the news section (with permission from both). It looks similar to vBhome because I was inspired from Teck's hack to make my own. vBhome is the best hack I've seen so far and has a lot of nice features, but it's not quite what I wanted... So I made my own. I thought others might like it and it's features, so I tweaked it up a bit and got it ready to release.
And I agree, the name mYvBindex isn't very original, but I'm not that creative and that's about the best I could think of. If anyone can think of a better name I'll gladly change it.
