Window Shot Out Of Truck On Highway
MANASSAS, Va., 4:08 p.m. EDT October 9, 2002 - Police in Prince William County, Va., are investigating an incident involving a truck that had a window blown out, on the Route 234 bypass near Route 66, near Manassas.
Police spokeswoman Kim Chinn said a person driving a Schenck's delivery truck had the driver's window "blown out." Chinn said the person was not injured. Chinn said police are looking in the truck for clues.
Police said the incident happened at about 1:15 p.m. The truck was on the Prince William bypass when its window was shattered. The occupant of the truck stopped and called police.
Police said they believe the window may have been hit by "possibly bird shot," and they said this is hunting season.
