about the '!=' i didn't know it didn't work

i use it alot when seleting from the database and such... should i not be using it? or is it a strict mysql aspect?
but i think i suspected right that its something other then the ignore list because the file i gave him would 'echo' each user name and who he/she had on ignore... and it came up with nothing... and when he added a name then it came up solely with that person... any idea Xenon?
only other thing i could think of would be a invisibility issue? or hidden posts? not sure... regards...
