Easy, I have the code for making thumbnails

Put it in showthread.php, then add some tables and variablize stuff in the code, and have it pull necessary information from the database, like width size, etc...

I actually made an image gallery script based around this, but I havn't been able to release it due to the fact I work on weekends now, and go to school on weekdays, it should most likly be released tomorow.
