Actually, I was thinking about this a bit more, and maybe for my needs it would be better if I could restrict specific members (or user groups) to only a certain number of posts per day. I hate to punish people who haven't abused their membership priveledges (boy, I can't spell that word!). By forum would be fine too, or by user group.

I don't think you're idea is a bad one Log, unfortunately though, the reality is that a lot of members just don't read the "rules" and "guidelines" as it is, so I'm not sure it would have much impact. By the time they realized it wasn't increasing post count, they'd already have posted 200 messages LOL
