Dear all:

I am moving my vBulletin site from one domain name to another within the same server. At the moment is under a directory in a domain name xxxx.com/zzz. My discussion board should be ints own domain name yyyy.com.

I could move the whole directory using tar. However, I'm told by the vBulletin support that the links are all relative except on URL's shown in email messages when say retrieving passwords. I could make a search in all templates for $bburl and change to the correct URL.

Anyone can help me in giving some hints of what to do without the messy procedure as above indicated? One of my thoughts was to reinstall the discussion board, and then import the database. It seems the available scripts are for importing other discussion boards not vbulletin boards. Anyone who's done or has a hack that could show me the path to take? :cross-eyed:
