Better than doing that, why not 'move a thread, and leave a re-direction'... that will help all members.

Also, never delete threads, but create a "Deleted Threads" forum in your Admin/SuperMod/Mod private forums, where you 'move without leaving a re-direction' the threads to that forum.

That keeps your post count up, keeps records on your database.... etc. etc. etc.
