I don't mean to sound like an ass but to some extent I have to agree with their decision. Maybe they were a little extreme by changing your name but you have to agree that you "advertised" on their forum. Not only that, it was your first post, and you posted a link to your site. I wouldn't be surprised if they got angry at you, as one would think your sole purpose of going there is to gain more hits for your own site.

Another thing, you posted in their General Chaos forum, this is the forum they have for "anything goes" so you'd have to expect a certain extent of bashing

Personally I partly agree with their decisions.
