well this ISN'T (i mean) my area of expertise... nor is anything really ... but maybe a dedicated server for the mysql database ?

what about upgrading to php4 and zend optimiser... ? check the forum i mentioned for that kind of stuff cause i don't know much about it...

i see you also have taken on fellow aussie Jai's site insanehardware.com as well
