Try to use a consistent font. I see verdana and times new roman, and those don't look good. Large fonts are also kind of annoying too...like REGISTER ...annoying =P. Also, those images in the forum description are rather annoying...wouldn't it be more efficient to just use a text link? And the category descriptions make the category bgs look weird. It's really just a bunch of little things that detract.
