That's an interesting idea, but my concern is the formatting of the
messages. I believe there's a limit to the SMS characters at 160? I
like the Private Message idea. I guess Europe charges a bunch for SMS
but in the US (land of the excess) you can get unlimited for around
$7.99. I would love to be able to get notified on my phone via a small
message ("Joe has replied to your thread called "big DB" at DATE" )

Any ideas?
