uhm, apache2 and php, just don't

that combination is still in an experimental fase.

you'd better use the latest apache httpd 1.3.xx and php 4.2.xx

It took us (the serveradmins of the future stimpy) about a month to find out why apache2 wouldn't start with php enabled. Save your time and just forget about apache2 when you want to use php
