By definition, if you use Google Auto Ads then Google makes the decision as to which ads and how many ads go where. The results can be ugly, to say the least.

Resolution:

Don't use Auto Ads.

Use Google Responsive ads and select the type and sizes of the banners you wanty and the location where eash will be inserted.
