Currently the vB5 version works with extending classes... OOP based. Hooking in on pages and so now is done by writing widgets or a (smaller set than we used to in vB3/4) template hook. Template hooks are still in the DB tho'....

I like the new API structure. Have a look at my latest mods, download one and dive into the code. It might give a clear view of how things work now.
