Hi everyone,

my name is Peter Fujiyoshi and I would like to make my own forum about science. I have a degree in theoretical physics and want to open a forum about thermophysics and thermal analysis (if you don't know what that is you should read more here). I've never been an owner to a forum before so I was wondering if you guys know any good beginner's tips? And if you think it would be a good idea to open a science forum.

After all, I have noticed that many forums about science are either really big or really small. I'm afraid that people won't sign up because they're already signed up to a science forum.

Then again, my forum would be about thermophysics, preferrably that would be the only topic. Do you think that's TOO specific? I'm afraid that no one would really sign up if there's just one topic instead of a broader one.

What do you think? Should I do it?
