Ensure your files are clean i.e. has your site been hacked? Are those files consuming more resources because they're actually using them from malicious code being included?

This could be a number of things like Cellarius and Dave mentioned, it could be from a globally called plugin and your host is simply seeing more load on those few pages because they're the most frequented etc etc.

Check, check, and check again until you're sure of the actual issue not just a guess, when you're not guessing anymore then you're actually cooking with bacon and can serve good eggs with it . Me and my analogies lol
