Here's how I was able to resolve the issue:

Rename "dbclass.php" to "dbclass_orig.php".
Rename "dbclass_mysqli.php" to "dbclass.php".

That brought back the arcade for me.

edit: I forgot to mention, these files are located in the "arcade/functions" folder.
