Is there a way to add a new field for members to complete when posting a new thread, in addition to the title and thread content? For example, adding a field or drop-down menu for members to identify the state in which they are located.

The idea is to collect specific information when a person is posting a thread, and either include it in the body of the text they post or as a separate field.

I have searched extensively for discussion of this type of mod, but I haven't found anything.
