Sorry for the late response! In the AdminCP under the User Profile Fields on the bottom, there's an option for the Quote Notification. On my forum, I only have the option for users to select either private messages or off entirely.

So, it'll look like this:

"Private Message
No"

In the UserCP (settings), under General Settings, users can select the two options that I have given them.
