How to perform redirect to another URL after a user is successfully authenticated?

Hi

Need expertise guidance from gurus here.

www.abc.com
This is the web landing page where user access to. User will click on the "Login" on this site which will then bring them to the VB5 login page at forums.abc.com/Login

I would like to know once a user successfully authenticated at the VB5 login page, how can I redirect the user back to the main site www.abc.com ?
