most of the hacks are compatible with 2.2.6 if they are written in 2.2.x, so youi shouldn't have problems to implement it yourself...

if the hack is written for 2.0.x perhaps there are problems but most can be implementet too with very small changes

but if anyone writes an upgrade on someone elses hack you get a problem with this statement here down at vb.org:
