I have tried to replicate this issue @ your site using the same testing methodology reported by the other user. I tried posting a new thread, and I tried replying to a thread. Both actions presented the correct thanks/like count in the postbit (after re-enabling the display for one of your buttons).

I forgot to mention in my previous posts; I saw the issue about the blank forum topics, my guess is that it's to do with deleted content. I updated the SQL query for fetching new entries accordingly.
