Hello,
I have been using vbulletin for a few years to run a fishing web site. When I started the site I was focused on servicing one in particular lake hence I setup the site with a fishing forum tarea with forums within it to discuss different species such as Catfish, Crappie, Black Bass, Stripers, Carp, Walleye etc. we have had reasonable success and grown considerably but now I have users hungry to expand the site scope to a number of lakes while still having many of the same species sub categories.

I realize I could setup a forum area for Lake A with dedicated forum areas such as ... Crappie, Black Bass, Stripers, Carp, Walleye and another forum area such as Lake B with another set of dedicated forum areas such as ... Crappie, Black Bass, Stripers, Carp, Walleye. It would keep the posts and conversations separate and organized but there would always be times where people were just interested in reading all Catfish posts regardless of what lake the poster was discussing.

I hope there is a smart way to setup a forum with filters drop downs or pivots of sort so I could look by lake or by species efficiently. Any questions or ideas for me to consider are welcome and appreciated.
