You can see the last update dates for all our vB5 mods on our profile:

We absolutely do not sell support, nor do we sell subscriptions. When your license expires, you do not have to revert to the Lite version, you can run the latest version you have access to indefinitely.
What we sell is licenses to receive any updates that may or may not be released within the license period.
Support is always provided free of charge
To address the second half of your question; if you were to submit feedback to Internet Brands that they should focus more on mod development, keeping the core stable so that new versions do not constantly require seemingly random tweaks (the latest issue with form submissions has happened before, was reverted again and has now apparently been re-introduced...?) from mod developers, that would help us immensely
If they
have to introduce backwards compatibility breaking changes to the API or something else, why is there not a mailing list for addon developers that gives us a heads up?
Also, all our vB5 mods are flagged as BETA for this very reason. Personally, I also strongly recommend that anyone interested in running custom modifications stay clear of vB5 due to how unstable it is from a mod development point of view.
