OK, thanks guys, your ideas seem to have gotten me there in an around about way.

I have to go into advanced editor then go to the basic uploader then upload the file then attach it to the post.

I've only had to do this since going to Vs 4.2.3 Just another " interesting feature" of this "upgrade".
