Thanks for the reply, I ordered an upgrade with VBulletin and their professionals made the upgrade for me becuase I have no experience at all with computers. So I assume that they made a back-up as they should be aware of the problem with images/photos. From what I understand from another IT man is that the photos are still on the hard disk but that the link between the post and the photo on the hard disk is missing. Hopefull someone is able to recover that links.
