I'll further add that I don't think it's all that bright for a adviser to be attacking the religious beliefs of the members. I dunno, maybe that's just my own beliefs. But it really looks bad.

That aside, let's talk about perceptions and "evidence." Do you think paramecium and amoebas are aware of our existence? Well, you might say, of course not. They're incapable of discerning that.

Really? How do you know what they can discern? But if they're incapable of discerning us, does it stand to reason that to some other more advanced being, we could be paramecium or amoeba, to them and equally incapable of discerning their existence? Incapable of seeing any evidence?
